Health Insurance for Freelance Workers

The UK has seen a surge in number of freelance and contract workers over the past decade. Internet boom, worsening traffic situation, and most importantly the eagerness of a second income have pushed many people into moonlighting as online tutors, accountants, writers, publishers, affiliate marketers, data entry workers, and email writers. Many people have been so successful as freelance workers that they have turned it into a fulltime profession, earning more than they ever did as regular employees!

Working as a freelancer does have its advantages. You can be your own boss, you set your own work schedule, you can take the kids out to play ball daily, and you can work in your bedroom or home office in your pajamas, if you choose. However, there is one thing that a freelance job does not guarantee you – health and safety insurance. A cover that can protect you and your handful staffs (if any) from any sudden and unforeseen eventuality.
